Rubber recycling application
TIRE SHREDDER BLADES.
Cutter discs and hook knives for primary tire shredding and downstream size reduction.
Impact and abrasion
Tire cutters work against rubber, textile and steel.
The correct replacement must balance edge retention with resistance to impact and unexpected contamination.
- Passenger, truck, OTR or mixed tires
- Primary shred, chip or downstream stage
- Cutter outside diameter and thickness
- Hook count, rotation and bore profile
- Spacer stack and cleaning finger relationship
| Blade systems | Twin-shaft hook cutters, multi-hook discs, secondary cutters |
|---|---|
| Feedstock details | Tire category, bead handling and contamination |
| Wear focus | Hook rounding, chipping, side wear and bore deformation |
| Quote input | Drawing, stack diagram, sample cutter or verified dimensions |
A clear stack diagram helps prevent errors in cutter direction, spacer width and total shaft assembly length.
Processing stage
Primary and downstream tire cutters solve different problems.
State the input tire type and required output size. A cutter that opens whole tires is not evaluated the same way as a downstream knife producing smaller chips from pre-shredded material.
Whole tire
Identify passenger, truck or OTR tires and the treatment of bead sections.
Primary shred
Record hook profile, overlap and cutter-stack arrangement.
Secondary cut
State incoming chip size, target size and recirculation conditions.
Failure history
Separate normal hook wear from chipping, bore damage or side-face wear.
